OUR STORY - IN A NUTSHELL

We were living in Tahoe where we met, fell for each other, bought a house and got married (now that's a brief summary!). On our honeymoon we booked a cabin on a 49' sailboat on a trip through the Cyclades in Greece and fell in love with sailing. Though neither of us were sailors, we began planning how we could one day cruise like that ourselves: starting with sailing lessons and a little 19' West Wight Potter on Lake Tahoe!

We were lucky enough to live in Tahoe for a couple of decades with our dogs, Maggie and Pai, where we loved skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and hiking in the beauty around the lake. While Tahoe and our friends were VERY tough to leave, we always had our goal to live aboard, and bought Tino Pai in 2018.

Over the years we've taken US Sailing courses, bare boat chartered in Croatia and Florida, crewed with friends in the Caribbean and Irish Sea, and sailed Tino Pai in San Francisco Bay (a wonderful training ground). We're enormously grateful to our family, friends and mentors who have supported us in fulfilling our dream.

On 27th August 2022 we cut the dock lines, set off and we are currently loving the cruising lifestyle in Mexico. Whatever the future may hold, we're delighted to have come this far and to have actually begun our long-held goal of full time liveaboard cruising.
